BUSINESS ENGAGEMENT OFFICERS

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

We are looking for three Business Engagement Officers to join the Hustle & Heels (H&H) team to work on a one-month project, engaging Independent, High Street Businesses in the London Borough of Haringey. The Business Engagement officers will be responsible for visiting, engaging, and collating information about the businesses in order to understand the key challenges they are facing post-pandemic and their requirements for business support. 

 

The primary purpose of this short project will feed into the development of several Business Training and Support programmes that will help businesses in the Borough to rebuild confidently and grow successfully. 

 

Each Business Engagement Officer will be provided with a specific High Street area to focus on and will be required to;

 

  • Conduct In-store visits to High Street businesses;

  • Learn how the retailers have been impacted by the pandemic; 

  • Understand what new business support needs they have;

  • Create and maintain a list of businesses in the designated areas;

  • Complete surveys with the business owners.

PROGRAMME FACILITATORS

1 POSITION AVAILABLE | 5 MONTH PROJECT

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for two Programme Facilitators to join the Hustle & Heels (H&H) team to work on a three-month project, engaging independent business leaders and facilitating online workshops. The course leaders and session facilitators will be responsible for onboarding and engaging business owners/managers and leading and facilitating online workshops in order to deliver peer-to-peer learning.

 

The primary purpose of this project is to support SMEs to adapt, become resilient, and thrive in the post-pandemic and post-Brexit world. H&H will develop a business support programme for two cohorts of participants with up to 11 business leaders each. The programme will be based on the Action Learning methodology. This intervention aims to improve SMEs' capability to adapt their business models to the "new normal", position themselves for future success and drive longer-term productivity gains through improved leadership and management skills and tech adoption. 

 

Each Programme Facilitator will lead one cohort and will be required to;

 

  • Recruit and onboard 11 business owners/managers virtually (H&H will provide the framework and programme criteria);

  • Schedule and facilitate 12 x 3 hour group sessions to support the business owners through strategic and operational growth (Sessions will be delivered weekly or every 2 weeks on the same day and time over a 3 months period); 

  • Encourage and focus group discussion to ensure all business leaders are benefitting, contributing, and leaving each session with actionable takeaways to implement;

  • Ensuring business owners attend each session and complete the programme;

  • Encourage business owners/managers to their 1-2-1 Business Advisor sessions before the end of the programme;

  • Support business owners/managers with the completion of their progress reports;

  • Ensure all session surveys are completed by the business owners/managers at the end of each session.
